All Lodge wants is for his gaming group to finish their adventure. Unfortunately, they're more interested in seducing barmaids, mooning their enemies, and setting random villagers on fire. Desperate to rein in his players, Lodge injects two newbies into the distrust: a non-player character controlled by Lodge, who the power gamers immediately distrust, and the rarest gamer of all -- a girl. Can the group overcome their bickering to save the kingdom, or will the evil necromancer Mort Kemnon triumph unopposed? A parody of fantasy films and the adventure gaming community, The Gamers: Dorkness Rising is a hilarious romp through the world of sword and sorcery -- in this case, a world of exploding peasants, giant house cats, and undead roast turkeys. Game on!

This brought back a lot of great memories from my first gaming group- from Mart pregnant with Candace's babies, to his glowing testes, to shoving him off a cliff...
Hmm. We killed him a lot.
:3 This movie totally brought me back to what I love best about gaming: it's fun! This movie is so entertaining, I'm buying my own copy (saw it at a friend's today). I haven't giggles and guffawed this much in a long while.
Thanks to everyone who worked on it, omg!

Brilliant movie, if you have seen the first Gamers you just couldnt think it could be any better, its slicker and thankfully twice and long and incredibly its funnier! How could this be!
Even low budget it manages to make up this by having a brilliant script and superb actors who make the movie more than any overbudget special effect types do... Hilarious.

Dead Gentlemen Productions has by far out done themselves with this gem of a film. Having played "the game" for over 20 years now, this parody is like a walk down memory lane.
The actors in this film are brilliant, relatable and authentic. Whether you are an avid gamer, dabbler or not a gamer at all, this film will leave your sides hurting!!
Brilliant work you guys!

Speaking as a gamer who saw the original D&D movie from the 90's and was horrified, this completely trumps that. Fantastic humor that anyone who has played the game (THE GAME) can relate to. When the chicken gets punted across the campsite, I nearly died.
Not only that, but the stereotype of the girl gamer was depicted SO well!
Fantastic job guys. Hope to see more good stuff from you.

This movie is one of the funniest I've ever seen. I've already watched it for the sixth time and I'd have no problems whatsoever doing it a seventh time.
Likeable characters, entertaining story en enough laugh-out-loud moments to make your muscles hurt. Don't drink anything while watching this movie or you'll soon be spraying the room with it.
The only drawback I could see is the props and clothes being very makeshift. But then again it looks appropriate for the theme of the movie. A group of people having a good time.

Very straight forward and simply put, this film will keep you laughing and engaged throughout it's entirety. You'll wonder where the time has gone and when the next film will come out. THAT, is how truly entertaining and connective this film is to all those who are comfortable with anything d20 related. This film completes a story we have all been a part of from beginning to end in a fashion that is rarely seen in movies today.
